Quote form header consistency

At MPB we very recently updated our homepage hero which was pushing a lot more traffic to our sell/trade quote form. Whilst the form was performing well, we were still using a MVP of the headers and we needed to update these in order to better guide and inspire the user whilst completing the quote form.

Consistency goals for the headers

Context

After reviewing the existing journey, I realised the headers were not providing context around the stage of the quote and the action required from the user at any given point. So I looked to ensure the header and the sub-header not only let the user know what we were asking from them, but also a 'Why' to inspire the user to move forward in the journey.

User friendly

The original journey was too close to our internal terms which I believe made the journey confusing to the user, so I looked to simplify the terms and ensure it was consistent throughout.

Motivate

One of our business OKR's was to increase our quote form completion rates, so not only did we want to ensure the journey was easy to understand, we needed to inspire users to take action at any one point in the quote journey.
